O'KEY Group

O'KEY is a rapidly developing retailer in Russia, which is one of Europe's largest food retail markets with significant potential for further growth. O'KEY operates 73 stores in the North-Western, Southern, Central, Urals and Siberian regions, with a total selling space exceeding 358,000 square metres. 35 of the 73 stores are located in St. Petersburg, where O'KEY has the highest brand equity among its competitors according to an AC Nielsen survey in May 2010.

O'KEY has two store formats – hypermarkets ("O'KEY") and supermarkets ("O’KEY-Express"). O'KEY’s stores are based on a classic European hypermarket concept, with a wide range of products and services at affordable prices, including the company’s own bakeries, a well-lit, ample selling space, large car parks, children's play areas and a variety of additional services, such as phone retailers, pharmacy, banking services, dry-cleaning and cafés. O'KEY-Express supermarkets offer a convenient neighbourhood shopping experience at affordable prices.

OKEY’s assortment consists of up to 64,000 stock keeping units (SKUs), including food products, which include the Company’s own fresh produce and baked goods, as well as non-food products, such as clothes, shoes, household goods and appliances, toys and other children’s goods. O'KEY hypermarkets and O'KEY-Express supermarkets offer more than 35,000 and 9,000 constant SKUs, respectively.

O’KEY offers customers dairy, meat and other food products and goods under its own private labels, which are of a reliable quality and do not require a mark-up for advertising. Among these private label products are non-branded and O’KEY-branded products, as well as Emotion lady, Emotion man, and Emotion children's clothes, Firemark sportswear and Element crockery.

Since 2007, the Group has been led by Patrick Longuet, a CEO with extensive experience in the international retail business. The Company employs over 19,000 people throughout Russia. O’KEY is focused on encouraging the successful career progression of its employees and places a great emphasis on training and development. High quality control is a cornerstone of the Company’s operations.
